Maintenance Technician (Automation)

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician (Automation) to join our team in Kanchipuram. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated machinery and robotic systems in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand machine processes and applications.
  
• Diagnose and maintain electrical and pneumatic devices & circuits.
  
• Execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of automation equipment.
  
• Basic troubleshooting of PLC-based machines, CCD systems, SCARA robots, and servo systems.
  
• Support in Laser Etching & Welding Process maintenance.
  
• Perform periodical maintenance of jigs & fixtures.
  
• Ensure timely and efficient repair of machines with minimal downtime.
  
• Maintain daily check sheets, preventive maintenance documentation, and history records.
  
• Implement 5S and Kaizen initiatives in maintenance activities.
  

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma Holders:

  Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Mechanical / Mechatronics with 26 years of experience.

• Engineering Graduates:

  Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Mechanical / Mechatronics with 1–3 years of experience.
• Prior experience in

  Electronics Manufacturing Industries, Automation Service Support, or Auto Electrical Manufacturing

  preferred.
• Hands-on experience in automation, robotic interfaces, and continuous process equipment.
