Maintenance Supervisor- Mechanical Focused (Kadi- Gujarat)

Qualification and experience required:

BE/B. Tech in Mechanical / Diploma in Mechanical.

Key skills:

- Should have good knowledge & experience of maintenance of various CNC machines, SPMs, PLC controlled automated machines.

- Should have good knowledge of Mechanical assembly drawings, Hydraulic & pneumatic circuits.

- Should have basic knowledge of Electrical drawings, CNC & PLC controllers.

- Should have ability of root cause diagnosis of breakdown & guide the team for resolution of critical breakdowns.

- Should have good knowledge of predictive technics like GAT, Vibration analysis.

- Should have ability to lead the breakdown team, good communication among team & peer members of other departments.

Responsibilities:

- Will be responsible for achieving department KPIs & upkeep the plant machines for production.

- Will be responsible for work distribution in the breakdown team, root cause diagnosis for major breakdowns, CAPA.

- Will be responsible to attend various meetings related to Quality & Safety issues regarding equipment of the plant & resolution of all the abnormalities.

- Will be responsible to maintain critical spares in stock, readiness of available spare sub-assemblies.

- Will be responsible to lead in major breakdown resolution & should give on job training to subordinates.

- Will be responsible to drive the Kaizens with the team for Productivity, Quality & Safety improvement.

- Will be responsible to plan & execute the planned maintenance activities on Sundays / Holidays.

• Maintenance and repairing of hydraulic system and power press
• Maintenance and repairing of Pneumatic system
• Spare management
• Budget planning
• KPI monitoring (MTTR ,MTBF & Machine Uptime)
• Preventive maintenance planning & performing
• Utility Maintenance (DG set, Compressor & Grease Pump)
• Preparation and Managing of IATF 16949:2016 and VSA Documents
• Kaizen & Poka-Yoke implementation
• Breakdown attending and trouble shooting
• Maintenance of Battery-operated Forklift, Hydraulic Scissor lift
• Maintenance of Servo base press machine
• Raise Purchase Requisition and maintain the stock of critical spare parts
• Cost saving Projects & Process Improvement Projects
• Root Cause analysis 5S

Authorized for:

- Shift allocation for Breakdown team

- Get quotations from suppliers for spares & service, Indenting.

- Certification of work carried out by contractor/ Service provider.

- Take decisions on planned maintenance activities planning & execution.

- Take External Service support from OEM & Service agency in case of critical breakdowns.

Role purpose

Supervises employees on an assigned shift to perform maintenance or service functions to specific time, quality, and cost standards. Maintenance activities can range from janitorial, caretaker, manual maintenance work, carpentry, painting and plumbing. At more senior levels may include a higher degree of troubleshooting and more complex maintenance such as machine installation/replacement or electrical work.
