Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to lead all plant maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will take end-to-end ownership of maintaining and improving the reliability, efficiency, and performance of all plant and production machinery, utilities, and infrastructure. This role demands strong technical expertise in Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics systems, coupled with proven leadership and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and enforce robust maintenance strategies to maximize equipment uptime, plant

availability, and overall prod uction and plant productivity.

• Lead rapid breakdown containment and root cause elimination, ensuring zero recurrence of

failures.

• Drive strict preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all production equipment and

utilities with 100% compliance.

• Develop, manage, and execute procurement strategies for critical spares, consumables, tools,

and maintenance related services to ensure cost effectiveness, quality, and timely availability.

• Negotiate with vendors and AMC partners, ensure favorable commerci al terms, and monitor

service quality and delivery performance.

• Own the reliability of plant utilities and infrastructure (power distribution, furnaces,

compressors, boilers, cranes, HVAC, WTP/ETP etc.) with zero tolerance for unplanned

interruptions.

• Plan and execute major plant shutdowns/turnarounds with precision, adhering to defined

timelines, budgets, and safety parameters.

• Define and maintain critical spares strategy, eliminate stock outs, and drive aggressive cost

optimization of the inventory.

• Hold vendors and AMC partners accountable for service quality, delivery performance, and

contractual obligations.

• Ensure 100% statutory, regulatory, and audit compliance across all maintenance functions with

zero deviations.

• Own and control the maintenance budg et, delivering year on year cost reductions without

compromising reliability.

• Build a high performance maintenance team, upskill engineers and technicians, and rigorously

manage contractor performance.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Education: B.E./B. Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.

• Experience: Minimum 10 to 15 years of progressive maintenance experience in manufacturing plants, with at least 4 to 5 years in a managerial capacity.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of mechanical systems (gearboxes, hydraulics, bearings, conveyors, cranes).

• Solid understanding of electrical and automation systems (power distribution, PLC/SCADA, VFDs, drives, sensors).

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build, mentor, and drive high-performing teams.
