Job Title: Maintenance Incharge Department: Engineering / Maintenance Reports To: Resort Manager Location: Fragrant Nature Paravur Kollam Job Summary: The Maintenance Incharge is responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance activities in the property. This role ensures the smooth operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems, while leading the maintenance team, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring timely repairs to maintain safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Supervise day-to-day operations of the maintenance department, including technicians and contractors. Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities. Ensure timely repair and upkeep of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and mechanical systems. Monitor the condition of the property and initiate corrective measures when needed. Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; raise requisitions as necessary. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Coordinate with other departments (housekeeping, front office, kitchen, etc.) for maintenance support. Inspect and approve completed maintenance work for quality and standards. Maintain maintenance logs, reports, checklists, and documentation. Train, guide, and evaluate maintenance staff performance. Liaise with vendors for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), major repair work, and project support. Handle emergency maintenance issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
