They also play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations and may lead a team of electricians. Specific duties often include: Preventive Maintenance: Developing and implementing schedules for routine inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment. Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnosing electrical issues, identifying the root cause, and coordinating repairs, often using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. Installation and Upgrades: Overseeing the installation of new electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures, as well as upgrades to existing infrastructure. Safety Compliance: Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and procedures, including conducting safety inspections and promoting a safety-conscious work environment. Inventory Management: Maintaining an adequate supply of electrical parts and materials, tracking inventory levels, and coordinating procurement.
