Job Description: CNC/VMC Maintenance Engineer

Location: Sahibabad / Jewar, Uttar Pradesh
Experience: 2–4 Years
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Automotive / Precision Engineering / CNC Machining / Manufacturing
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, and SPM machines (Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication systems.
• Calibrate and align machines to maintain accuracy and performance standards.
• Monitor and service ball screws, guideways, servo motors, spindles, gearboxes, and coolant systems.
• Assist with machine retrofitting, overhauling, and commissioning of new CNC/VMC machines.
• Maintain logs, breakdown history, and schedule maintenance using CMMS or Excel/SAP systems.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for complex repair and spare part procurement.
• Ensure machine availability, reduce downtime, and support TPM/5S initiatives.
• Follow all safety standards and LOTO protocols during maintenance activities.

Key Skills & Tools:

• Machine Types: CNC/VMC turning & milling machines, HMCs, SPMs
• Controllers: Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain
• Skills: Mechanical fault-finding, spindle repair, servo/alignment issues, backlash correction
• Utilities: Pneumatic/hydraulic systems, coolant/chiller systems
• Tools: Dial gauges, laser alignment tools, torque wrenches
• Systems: SAP PM, Excel, CMMS
• Methods: TPM, RCA, 5S, Kaizen

✅ Candidate Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machine maintenance
• Ability to read machine manuals and mechanical schematics
• Experience in automotive, aerospace, or precision machining industries preferred
• Willing to work in Sahibabad or Jewar industrial zones, including rotational shifts if required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
