Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer I in the IT Maintenance department at Teva Pharmaceuticals, your role involves carrying out preventive maintenance of all computer systems of ICS, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and installing/configuring standalone instruments/equipment/output devices. You will also be responsible for managing vendor coordination for resolving QC/QA laboratories instrument software issues, ensuring electronic records and signatory system data maintenance, and conducting system validations for new installations. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive maintenance of PLC, HMI, IPC, and SCADA systems - Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for servers, desktops, laptops, LAN, and instrument/equipment systems - Install and configure standalone instruments/equipment/output devices - Manage vendor coordination for QC/QA laboratories instrument software issues - Conduct FAT/SAT/computer system validations for new systems - Manage user accounts in QC, QA firmware-based instruments/equipment, and production computers - Prepare annual planner for computer system validation - Plan and regulate technical force work during shifts - Implement periodical servicing, annual maintenance contracts, and other engineering works - Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards - Maintain data integrity compliance and effective shift handover - Keep log books in good condition with required GDP requirements - Analyze preventive/breakdown maintenance for improving OEE - Maintain inventory of critical spares and consumables - Monitor cGMP compliance and report incidents/deviations - Prepare and maintain engineering documents inline with cGMP and Teva standards - Propose and implement new ideas for production enhancement and resource utilization - Ensure readiness for audits and production activities - Comply with safety observations and ensure timely closure of maintenance tasks Qualifications Required: - I.T.I/Diploma/Engineering Degree - Minimum 6 years of relevant experience By demonstrating your expertise and qualifications in maintenance engineering, you will contribute to Teva Pharmaceuticals" mission of making good health more affordable and accessible worldwide.
