Maintenance Engineer

As an Engineering Solutions Design professional, your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the design of engineering solutions. This involves designing the feasibility testing approach and overseeing its implementation to support the development and validation of engineering solutions. You will also play a crucial role in Engineering Standards Specification by analyzing information, drafting engineering standards and specifications, and evaluating their effectiveness within your engineering discipline. This information will inform engineering work in the organization and/or of its suppliers, contractors, and consultants. Another key aspect of your role will be conducting Engineering Inspections under the supervision of senior colleagues. This will involve evaluating the quality of engineering works and/or the integrity of existing installations or structures. Based on your assessments, you will make recommendations to senior colleagues regarding the remedial works needed to ensure conformance with specifications and regulatory requirements. In addition, you will contribute to Process Design Engineering by analyzing information, specifying methods and process steps, and identifying the plant, machinery, and equipment required to design and continuously improve manufacturing or materials processes and process systems. The goal is to deliver the end product within specified cost and quality parameters. As part of your responsibilities, you will be expected to identify shortcomings in existing processes, systems, and procedures and utilize established change management programs to address them. This focus on Improvement/Innovation is essential for ensuring continuous enhancement within the organization's engineering practices. Furthermore, you will be involved in Knowledge Management System activities, assisting others in maximizing the benefits of knowledge management systems by providing support and advice. Your role will also entail Solutions Analysis, where you will interpret data and identify potential solutions by navigating through various processes, procedures, and precedents. Moreover, you will engage in Product and Solution Development activities, conducting a range of product development and engineering tasks. This will involve analyzing customer needs, defining product requirements, and delivering the final products using established systems. Additionally, you will provide Information and Business Advice, supporting others in optimizing internal communications systems through guidance and assistance. Furthermore, you will focus on Personal Capability Building by enhancing your own capabilities through assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching sessions. You may also pursue external professional accreditation to improve performance and achieve personal growth. It is crucial to maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices through continuous education, conference attendance, and reading specialist media. Your skills in Engineering Technology, Engineering Design, Engineering Development, Engineering Testing, Verbal Communication, Engineering Technical Operations Support, Health, Safety, and Risk Management will be crucial in fulfilling the requirements of this role. Education Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level Experience: 2 to 3 years,
