Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant/ facility operations. The role requires technical expertise in electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, motors, and equipment.
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and tools.
• Install and maintain electrical control systems, distribution boards, and circuit breakers.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, or maintenance requests.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and spare parts usage.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Assist in upgrading or modifying existing electrical systems when required.
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Ability to diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems quickly and efficiently.
• Familiar with PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial electrical equipment (if applicable).
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,314.24 - ₹20,937.90 per month
