Job Description

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant/ facility operations. The role requires technical expertise in electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, panels, motors, and equipment.
Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and tools.
Install and maintain electrical control systems, distribution boards, and circuit breakers.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
Respond promptly to breakdowns, emergencies, or maintenance requests.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, repairs, and spare parts usage.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
Assist in upgrading or modifying existing electrical systems when required.
Follow all safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Ability to diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems quickly and efficiently.
Familiar with PLCs, motors, drives, and industrial electrical equipment (if applicable).
Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,314.24 - ₹20,937.90 per month
