Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a technical background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Welding, with hands-on experience in industrial or facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive and breakdown maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and welding-related issues.
• Conduct inspections to identify wear and tear, and carry out necessary repairs.
• Maintain electrical panels, motors, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and welding equipment.
• Respond to maintenance requests from departments and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities.
• Ensure safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed at all times.
• Assist in installation of new machinery or equipment.
• Report and escalate major repair needs to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
• Coordinate with external service providers if required.

Required Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Mechanical, or Welding.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in maintenance (plant, facility, or equipment).
• Good understanding of safety practices, tools, and equipment used in maintenance.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of basic electrical wiring, motor control, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with welding and fabrication is a plus.
• Ability to read technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and instruction manuals.
• Familiarity with basic computer operations for logging maintenance records.

Working Conditions:

• Physically fit and able to lift tools, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• May require working in shifts, weekends, or on-call duty during breakdowns.
• Work environment may include industrial noise, dust, heat, or outdoor conditions.
