Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using

  COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM

  .
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform

  code development, unit testing, and debugging

  for mainframe programs.
• Work on

  batch processing, online transactions, and data migration

  projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Conduct

  impact analysis, performance tuning, and optimization

  of mainframe applications.
• Provide

  production support

  , troubleshoot issues, and ensure system stability.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in

  COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM

  .
• Knowledge of

  CICS, IMS, and MQ

  is a plus.
• Experience in BFSI domain applications such as

  core banking, payment systems, insurance platforms

  .
• Familiarity with

  Agile methodologies

  and SDLC processes.
• Good understanding of

  performance tuning and debugging techniques

  .

• Minimum 15 years of regular education (10th + 12th + 3 years graduation)
