Mainframe Consultant

As a Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include developing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures based on business requirements and technical specifications. You will be executing test cases and documenting results to ensure the quality and functionality of mainframe applications. Identifying and reporting defects and issues to development teams, and collaborating with them to resolve problems will be a crucial part of your role. Furthermore, you will be expected to collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of quality software. Providing support to end-users during the UAT (User Acceptance Testing) phase will be essential. It will also be necessary to stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in testing methodologies and tools. In addition, you will be responsible for providing mentorship and guidance to junior testers and team members. Your role will require the ability to write complex SQL queries and perform database testing. Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution will be valued in this position.,
