MAIN OPERATOR

Job Title: Main Operator/ Assistant operator - Diaper industries
Department: Production / Manufacturing
Reports To: Assistant Manager

Position Overview:

The Main Operator is responsible for overseeing and operating the machinery and production lines involved in the manufacturing of diapers. This role ensures smooth operation, quality control, troubleshooting, and safety adherence throughout the production process. The Main Operator works closely with the production team to meet daily production targets while maintaining product quality and minimizing downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation & Monitoring:
• Operate and monitor the diaper manufacturing machines, including the diaper production line, cutting machines, and packaging equipment.
• Ensure machines are functioning at optimal levels, adjusting settings as necessary to maintain consistent product quality.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery, identifying and resolving any issues promptly.
• Production Line Management:
• Oversee the entire diaper production process from raw material input to finished product packaging.
• Ensure that production quotas and deadlines are met consistently without compromising on product quality.
• Monitor production efficiency and report any deviations or downtime to the supervisor or maintenance team.
• Quality Control:
• Conduct regular quality checks at various stages of production to ensure diapers meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Inspect finished products for defects, consistency, and packaging accuracy.
• Address and resolve any quality issues quickly to minimize waste and ensure product reliability.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
• Troubleshoot any issues related to the machinery or production process and take corrective action as needed.
• Assist in minor machine repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring equipment operates smoothly.
• Report complex machine issues to the maintenance department for further analysis and repair.
• Safety & Compliance:
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
• Adhere to health and safety standards and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, following all regulatory compliance procedures.
• Reporting & Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of production data, machine performance, and any maintenance activities.
• Report daily production figures, machine breakdowns, and quality issues to the supervisor or production manager.
• Ensure proper documentation for production batches, ensuring traceability and compliance with quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: ITI/ DIPLOMA
• Experience: Proven experience in operating manufacturing machinery, preferably in the diaper or related consumer goods industry.
• Technical Skills: Ability to operate complex production equipment, troubleshoot machinery, and perform routine maintenance.

• Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills to report issues and collaborate with team members.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge of Safety Standards: Understanding of safety protocols, health regulations, and the use of personal protective equipment.

Working Conditions:

• Fast-paced and high-pressure production environment.
• Work may involve standing for long periods and repetitive tasks.
• May involve exposure to noise, machinery, and raw materials.
• Shift work, including nights and weekends, may be required based on production schedules.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
