Job Description

Operate and set up
lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and other conventional machines
.
Interpret
engineering drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
to produce precision components.
Perform
cutting, shaping, drilling, tapping, and finishing
operations as per requirements.
Select and use appropriate
cutting tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments
.
Carry out
in-process inspection
to maintain accuracy and tolerances.
Conduct routine
machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and adjustments
.
Ensure adherence to
quality standards, safety procedures, and production targets
.
Role & responsibilities

Preferred candidate profile

Proven experience as a
Machinist
in manufacturing/automotive industry.
Strong knowledge of
machine shop operations and machining processes
.
Ability to use
measuring instruments (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Dial Gauge)
.
Familiar with
materials (steel, aluminum, alloys)
and machining properties.
Good understanding of
tolerances, surface finish, and quality checks
.
Safety-conscious, with attention to detail and productivity.
