Job Description

As the Machine Shop Incharge, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the machine shop. Your key responsibilities will include: - Setting up and programming CNC/VMC machines - Supervising shop floor activities - Managing tool selection and offset - Reading and interpreting engineering drawings - Planning manpower and scheduling shifts - Leading and mentoring the team - Implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen practices - Utilizing quality tools such as 7QC, SPC, and root cause analysis To qualify for this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Production, or Tool Engineering - 7-10 years of hands-on experience in CNC/VMC machine operations - Proficiency in G-code and M-code programming - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles - Strong leadership and team management skills - Basic understanding of quality tools and analysis techniques This is a full-time, permanent position located in [Karumathamaptti-Coimbatore].
