Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor tobacco pouching/packing machines efficiently
• Set up, calibrate, and run machines as per the daily production plan
• Ensure adherence to product weight and quality parameters
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine faults or escalate to maintenance team
• Maintain daily logs of output, wastage, downtime, and related parameters
• Ensure adherence to hygiene, safety, and tobacco handling standards
• Work closely with QC team to meet product standards
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work area

Requirements

• Minimum 

  3–7 years of experience in the Tobacco industry

   (Hookah or Cigarette lines only)
• Strong technical understanding of tobacco packing machinery
• Knowledge of SOPs, quality control, and industry-specific production norms
• Must be able to take initiative, maintain output targets, and work in a team
• Willingness to work shifts and under time-bound production environments
• Stable employment history preferred – candidates with frequent job changes will not be shortlisted

Preferred Qualifications

• ITI/Diploma/Technical certification is a plus
• Experience on semi-automatic and automatic pouching/packing lines for tobacco
• Understanding of preventive maintenance and basic machine servicing
