Machine Operator

As a Maintenance Technician, your primary role will involve performing routine maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functionality of equipment. This will include conducting inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and other preventive measures. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting issues, diagnosing problems, identifying root causes, and implementing necessary repairs or replacements. Key Responsibilities: - Managing equipment schedules, ordering parts and supplies, and overseeing proper storage and inventory - Supervising maintenance technicians and contractors, providing training on procedures, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations - Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, documenting repairs, and providing reports on equipment performance - Identifying areas for improvement in maintenance processes, developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, and optimizing equipment performance - Responding to equipment breakdowns, managing maintenance budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and developing long-term maintenance strategies Qualifications Required: - Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and/or other relevant engineering principles - Problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and organizational skills - Hands-on experience in maintenance and repair tasks In addition to the above responsibilities, you may also be responsible for responding to equipment breakdowns, managing maintenance budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and developing long-term maintenance strategies.
