Loss Prevention Assistant

As a Loss Prevention & Security team member at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, your primary responsibility will be to monitor Closed Circuit Televisions (CCTV), perimeter alarm system, duress alarms, and fire life safety system. Your vigilance will ensure that any unusual behavior or emergency situation is promptly identified and dispatched to the appropriate personnel for investigation. Additionally, you will be required to assist guests or employees during emergency situations, providing first aid/CPR as necessary. Confidentiality is key in this role, as you will be expected to maintain the confidentiality of all Security/Loss Prevention and property reports/documents, releasing information only to authorized individuals. You will also be responsible for providing proper paperwork to employees requiring outside medical treatment and conducting investigations related to theft/fraud, lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints, and other guest incidents. Adhering to company policies and procedures is essential, along with reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to your manager and protecting company assets. Excellent communication skills are required to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate guests" service needs, and interact with others using clear and professional language. In this role, you will be expected to develop positive working relationships with your colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals and addressing any concerns appropriately. Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, move objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and navigate various work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. To be successful in this position, you should have at least 2 years of related work experience and hold CPR and First Aid certifications. Some college education is preferred, and supervisory experience is not required.
