Role: Senior Java Developer

Technical Know-How:

Core & Advanced Java

• Collections, Hibernate, JDBC, Caching, Servlets, REST APIs, Threading, File Operations, Metadata driven concepts, Exception Handling.
• Knowledge of any framework (preferably Spring MVC)

JavaScript

• Hands on with JavaScript programming

Data Formats

• Working with XML & JSON data formats using JAVA programs, XSLT Transformation

RDBMS

• Oracle SQL Aggregation queries, Indexes, Joins, DDL, DMLs, Subqueries
• Sharding/Partitioning Concepts
• PL/SQL - Cursors (Nice to have)

• Ability to design and implement integration components between various enterprise systems.
• In dept knowledge of REST API based integrations.
• Hands on with JavaScript programming
• Must have done at least 2 end to end implementation for large banks/Insurance companies
• Working experience & sound understanding of JAVA/J2EE based Oracle products technical stack (XML, JSON, Integration with Oracle products, JAVA).
• Experience designing and developing Batch and Realtime (REST/SOAP) interfaces for large dataset in BFSI domain.
• Performance Tuning (Analyzing AWR reports, SQL tuning, Partitioning & Archival, Writing most optimized scalable code, deployments).
• Ability to understand requirements from business stake holders and convert into technical designs.
• Able to analyze and convert data into usable format with complex SQL/PL-SQL.
• Experience in writing & understanding XSLT, developing REST APIs for Inbound and Outbound integrations.
• Working knowledge of scalable cloud native architecture and design fundamentals.
• Exposure to Unix / Linux and basic Shell scripting.
• Able to work with cross geography teams and manage & report workload on daily basis.
• Adaptable, hard-working, independent, accountable, a strong sense of ownership, confident and strong communication.
• Adaptability to pick up new technology quickly (Kafka, Spark or new products as per company requirements).
• Must have exposure to Banking or Financial domain in past projects.
