As a Dispatch Operations Coordinator, your role involves coordinating daily dispatch operations and ensuring timely delivery of bitumen and related products. You will be responsible for managing transport arrangements, vehicle scheduling, and coordination with transporters and drivers. Your duties will also include overseeing loading, unloading, weighbridge activities, and ensuring accurate dispatch documentation. It will be your responsibility to prepare and maintain E-way bills, delivery challans, gate passes, and transport records. Additionally, you will monitor vehicle movement, maintain dispatch tracking reports, and update internal teams and clients. Coordination with production, sales, and accounts teams for order execution, billing, and stock reconciliation will be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring compliance with safety standards, transport norms, and company policies is crucial in this role. You will also support plant operations by monitoring inventory levels, material handling, and process flow. Assisting in vendor management, cost optimization, and operational efficiency improvement will be expected from you. Lastly, preparing MIS reports on dispatches, stock, and transport performance will be a key responsibility. Qualifications required for this role include being a graduate in any discipline (preferred: B.Com / BBA / Logistics / Supply Chain Management) and having 7-10 years of relevant experience in logistics and operations, preferably in the bitumen or manufacturing sector. It is essential to have good knowledge of E-way bills, dispatch procedures, and stock handling. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role. Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally (basic), and transport tracking systems is also required. The ability to multitask and work under tight timelines is a key attribute for success in this position.
