Logistics Operations Lead

Role Overview: You will be responsible for managing the entire logistics lifecycle, from strategic planning to last-mile execution. Your role will require 8+ years of progressive experience in the Movers, Packers, or Relocation industry with proven success in leading a team. Key Responsibilities: - Strategic Execution: Define operational strategies aligned with business goals and drive cost optimization initiatives. - Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations for inter-city and intra-city relocations, ensuring compliance with SOPs and improving TATs across the customer journey (packing, movement, unpacking). - Resource Allocation: Precisely determine operational inputs for every job, including: - Vehicle Size and optimal routing. - Required Manpower and Packaging Layers. - Storage Area and warehousing coordination. - Time & Cost Estimates (including $ ext{Rate/km}$). - Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a field operations team of 6+ personnel, driving a high-performance culture and ensuring accountability. - Vendor Management: Develop and manage a network of relocation partners and vendors (transporters, labor, warehousing). Negotiate rates, ensure quality control, and monitor performance KPIs. - Process Excellence: Collaborate with the tech team to digitize workflows and implement data-driven decision-making to improve operations efficiency. - Compliance & Risk: Ensure legal and regulatory compliance. Mitigate risk through insurance, process controls, and background verification of vendors and labor. Required Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum 8 years in a Logistics/Operations role. - Industry: Mandatory experience from Movers, Packers, or relocation sector. - Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing a team of at least 6 direct reports. - Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of logistical variables: vehicle capacity, packaging levels, storage norms, and cost calculation. - Location: Must be willing to work 6 days a week from our Noida office.,
