As a Loan Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting borrowers through the loan application process to ensure a seamless digital onboarding experience. Your responsibilities will include: - Verifying borrower information, documents, and income proofs to establish eligibility. - Coordinating with credit analysts for prompt decision-making and loan disbursement. - Maintaining accurate records of borrower interactions, application status, and supporting documentation. - Ensuring compliance with lending policies, provincial loan regulations, and privacy laws. - Responding to borrower queries and resolving issues efficiently while upholding professionalism. - Managing borrower accounts throughout the application, approval, and disbursement stages. - Escalating application discrepancies or high-risk cases to credit or compliance teams. - Contributing to process improvements aimed at enhancing borrower experience and operational efficiency.
