Job Description

The Loan Servicing Supervisor - Team Leader is a pivotal role within our Loans group, essential for delivering specific tasks and requirements. As a Loan Servicing Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable exposure to various aspects of running a banking office. Your contribution will be crucial to the seamless operation and success of our financial services, within a dynamic and collaborative environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring the team daily to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met, and escalating exceptions immediately for resolution. You will supervise processes such as Deal Closing, Drawdowns, Rollovers, Nostro & Past Due Reconciliation, and maintain a robust workflow allocation model to ensure adherence to QUALITY & QUANTITY SLAs. Additionally, you will serve as the Subject Matter Expert, handling complex process-related queries and routing them to onshore teams if necessary. Implementing a robust Knowledge Management model, ensuring 100% compliance with process-related policies, guidelines, and controls, motivating and supporting team members to meet goals, identifying High Potential employees, and planning for their development are also key aspects of your role. You should hold a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant loan servicing experience in syndicated loans or back office/financial industry roles. Knowledge of loan systems like Loan IQ, nostro/cash matching, General Ledger reconciliation, SWIFT, and remittance systems is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, a risk and control mindset, understanding of investment banking products, and the ability to drive small to medium-sized projects are also required. Preferred qualifications include a strong control mindset and adherence to a high degree of business ethics, along with in-depth experience in loan products and global markets. Excellent communication skills, the ability to grasp complex systems architecture easily, and experience in driving global initiatives and effecting change in a large organization are advantageous.,
