Job Description

Key Responsibilities:Supervise and participate in loading and unloading of goods from trucks, containers, or other transport vehicles. Verify the quantity, type, and condition of goods before and after loading. Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss. Plan and organize loading sequences for optimal space utilization and balance of vehicles. Maintain records of loaded/unloaded goods and update ERP/WMS systems accordingly. Coordinate with dispatch and transport departments for timely vehicle departures. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and use of PPE during loading operations. Report any damages, shortages, or discrepancies immediately to supervisors. Monitor and guide loading staff/laborers to maintain productivity and discipline. Conduct regular inspections of loading areas and equipment (forklifts, pallets, straps, etc.).
