Litigation Manager

Leading housing finance company is hiring for Litigation Manager and Senior Litigation Manager in Gurgaon

You will manage and oversee the full spectrum of litigation activities and contract/legal risk issues. This includes handling dispute resolution, drafting and negotiating contracts, and providing legal advice to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead litigation and dispute resolution: manage court cases, draft pleadings, supervise external counsel, and coordinate internal legal strategy.
  
• Evaluate legal risks and advise on operational issues in digital SME lending and services.
  
• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize contracts, service agreements, SaaS agreements, partner/vendor MoUs, NDAs, and terms and conditions for digital products.
  
• Conduct due diligence on partners, vendors, and digital platform integrations.
  
• Provide proactive legal counsel to business units, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations (e.g. RBI, data privacy, consumer protection).
  
• Liaise with regulators, courts, and external legal advisors regarding ongoing matters.
  
• Monitor litigation trends, regulatory changes, and incorporate learnings into policy and process updates.
  
• Prepare legal training and awareness for business and product teams.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Law (LLB); higher qualifications (LLM, certifications) a plus.
  

• 3+ years’ experience

  in litigation and contract management — preferably in NBFC/financial services
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to advise senior management.
  
• Experience in digital lending or SME finance is highly desirable.
  
• Excellent drafting skills and attention to detail.
