Linux Systems Administrator Computerware India Pvt Ltd Linux Systems Administrator

Responsibilities:

System Installation/ Configuration
: Install and configure Linux operating systems and applications (proxy servers, apache etc).
Mail Management
: Gmail /squirrel mail/
User Management
System Monitoring
: Monitor system performance and resource usage
Security Management
: Implement security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and regular updates.
Backup and Recovery
: Set up and manage backup solutions and perform data recovery when necessary.
Troubleshooting
: Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Automation
: Write scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) to automate repetitive tasks.
Networking
: Configure and manage network services like DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.

Documentation
: Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and policies.

Qualifications

BE/ BTech/MCA / M Tech/ Msc with specialization in computers or electronics or IT or MSc in
3-6 yrs relevant experience
Should have working experience in Redhat Centos Linux.
Familiarity of windows environment is desireable
Should have worked with databases / protocols like MySQL MariaDB Ubuntu CentOS, LDAP POP IMAP and others
Decent Communication skills Hindi/ English R/W/S
Skills like Problem Solving, attention to detail and continous learning are advantageious
