Linux-Proofpoint Associate

Role Overview: As a Proofpoint Associate PSE, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in Protection Server products. Your role will involve interacting directly with enterprise customers to provide top-notch service, updating support cases, hosting shared sessions with customers, and documenting technical solutions. You will act as a subject matter expert in various topics, owning and resolving issues efficiently. Your work will primarily be performed in Linux command line environments. Key Responsibilities: - Provide technical product support to customers, resellers, and partners - Offer configuration help, troubleshooting, and best practice advice - Manage cases in customer support tools to ensure timely resolution within SLA targets - Conduct problem diagnosis and root cause analysis for technical issues - Publish Knowledge Base articles for internal and customer audiences - Review technical documentation for training materials, marketing collateral, manuals, etc. - Participate in 24x7 on-call support rotation as assigned - Work collaboratively towards the team's success Qualifications Required: - Proven knowledge of Windows or Linux Server management - Familiarity with Email systems and Networking in a technical support/help desk environment - Understanding of email, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSH, DNS, SMTP, FTP, LDAP, Linux, MySQL & Exchange - Ability to troubleshoot software applications and complex distributed system environments - Strong problem analysis and resolution skills - Proficiency in a fast-paced, agile environment - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts (Note: No additional details of the company are mentioned in the Job Description),
