Job Description:

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Monitor, support, and administer global Linux servers
• Work in 18/5 rotational shifts and be available for weekend on-call support
• Proficient in RHEL versions 6.X to 8.X
• Strong understanding of NFS and CIFS protocols
• Experience with Yum repository configuration and maintenance
• Hands-on with Linux boot process and file systems
• Good understanding of the Linux kernel
• Proficiency in managing PVs, Volume Groups, and LVM
• Practical knowledge of SELinux modules and policies
• Experience with Active Directory authentication in Linux
• Create and maintain standard operating procedures
• Troubleshoot server boot and file system-related issues

Technical Skills & Requirements:

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 2–5 years of Linux support experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written & verbal)
• Attention to detail and focus on quality results
• Solid Linux fundamentals
• Experience with kernel patching
• Good understanding of VMware
• Basic knowledge of Storage and Backup solutions

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹324,065.44 - ₹500,000.00 per year
