Key Responsibilities Product Listings & Catalog Management Create, upload, and maintain product listings (title, descriptions, attributes, size/color variants, images) Ensure consistency of information, correct taxonomy, metadata and categorization Monitor for missing content or errors and fix them proactively Use best practices in SEO (product titles, meta descriptions, alt text) to improve organic search visibility Collection & Category Page Optimization Structure and maintain collection / category pages with logic, filtering, sorting Curate featured, new arrivals, best sellers, shop by fabric / season / occasion collections Work on banners, hero placements, on-site merchandising blocks A/B test positioning of products, banner creatives, sorting logic Merchandising & Visual Strategy Collaborate with design / creative to align product visuals with brand aesthetics Propose which products to push / highlight during promotions or season launches Work with marketing to coordinate campaigns / launches (ensure front-end readiness) Plan and execute merchandising calendar (site refreshes, seasonal changes) Data & Insights Monitor key metrics: conversion, click-through on category pages, bounce, add-to-cart, etc. Identify underperforming listings and propose improvements Use sales and traffic data to recommend product mix, site exposure changes Generate regular reports and insights to the founder / leadership Cross-functional Collaboration & Support Liaise with operations / inventory team to ensure availability, stock status reflected online Work with customer support to flag errors / feedback on product pages Assist in QA / testing of site features (e.g. new filters, search, page layouts) Escalate and help coordinate fixes with developers / designers if product data or UI issues emerge Continuous Improvement & Stay Updated Stay up to date with e-commerce / fashion / digital merchandising trends Suggest improvements and innovations (e.g. personalization, smart recommendations) Document SOPs for listing, merchandising, optimizations Requirements & Skills Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Commerce, Business, or relevant field 0.5-2 years experience in e-commerce merchandising, catalog management, or similar (especially fashion / apparel / lifestyle brands) Solid understanding of e-commerce best practices (SEO, UI/UX, site navigation, filters, search) Experience managing product listing platforms / CMS / storefront systems (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce etc) Analytical mindset: comfortable with data, Excel (or Google Sheets), reporting tools Strong attention to detail (typos, consistency, image quality) Good communication skills you'll coordinate across teams Proactive, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple tasks A sensibility for design / visual aesthetics (appreciation for cohesive brand look) Bonus / Preferred Experience with conversion optimization / A/B testing Knowledge of SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush) Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, heatmaps, search analytics) Understanding of sustainable / fashion space What You'll Gain / What We Offer Direct impact your work affects brand perception, sales & growth Exposure to all parts of D2C fashion business: design, operations, marketing Opportunity to help build systems, scale processes from ground up Learning, ownership, growth potential as the brand grows
