Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform visual, dimensional, and functional checks at regular intervals during production.
Record in-process inspection findings in appropriate check sheets and logs.
Segregate non-conforming parts and initiate rejection/hold procedures.
Maintain accurate inspection records, rejection reports, and daily inspection logs.
Report quality issues to the line supervisor and Quality Engineer.
Communicate defects and quality issues with production and tool room team.
Escalate recurring issues to Quality Engineer for corrective action.
Ensure clean and organized inspection area.
Follow all safety guidelines during inspection activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Good knowledge of plastic defects and injection moulding processes.
Able to read basic engineering drawings and use measuring tools (vernier, micrometer, gauges).
Eye for detail and consistency in inspection.
Basic knowledge of quality tools (7QC Tools, Control Plan, Poka-Yoke, etc.) is a plus.
Data recording and reporting skills.

Work Environment

Work is performed on the shop floor in shift basis.
