Job Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Manager / Stores -in- charge to oversee the storage, documentation, and logistics of components used in the assembly of flexographic printing machines. The role involves managing inventory, coordinating with vendors and internal teams, ensuring smooth material flow between manufacturing stages, and maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing components. Key Responsibilities: Inventory & Warehouse Management: Oversee the receipt, storage, and issuance of manufactured and off-the-shelf components used in machine assembly. Maintain an accurate inventory database and ensure stock levels meet production requirements. Implement best practices for storage, handling, and easy retrieval to optimize space utilization and maximise the efficiency. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to reconcile discrepancies. Logistics & Documentation: Supervise the movement of components between different manufacturing stages, ensuring efficient workflow. Manage packing, dispatch, and documentation of components moving in and out of the facility. Maintain proper records for GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and dispatch documentation . Ensure compliance with GST, E-way bills, and other regulatory documentation for material movement. Process Optimization & Team Management: Develop and implement SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for store operations. Lead a team of store executives, ensuring proper delegation of tasks. Contribute to lean inventory practices to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Work closely with production, purchase, and logistics teams to streamline operations . Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field . 5+ years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing environment . Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for inventory management. Familiarity with flexographic printing machine components or industrial machinery parts is an advantage. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills . Ability to handle logistics documentation and compliance requirements. Strong leadership skills to supervise and train store staff . Preferred Skills: Experience in lean inventory management and cost control. Understanding of logistics and transportation coordination .
