Lighting System Design Engineer

If you enjoy problem-solving, technical challenges, and contributing to cutting-edge projects, this role is ideal for you. **Roles And Responsibilities:** - **Design & Planning:** - Develop detailed lighting system designs, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software. - Assist in preparing and revising Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on feedback. - **Technical Support:** - Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to LED drivers, control systems (DALI, DMX), and wiring configurations. - Perform system testing and validation to ensure compliance with performance standards and specifications. - **Documentation:** - Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, progress reports, and technical specifications. - **Collaboration:** - Work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. - Provide technical expertise and support during all project phases, from planning to installation and commissioning. **Key Skills Required:** **Technical Skills:** - Fundamental understanding of lighting systems, including LED technology, control protocols (DALI, DMX), and circuitry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and calculations. **Soft Skills:** - Strong problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams. - Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results. **Preferred Qualification & Experience:** - Diploma or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. - Minimum 12 years of experience as a Lighting Engineer or in a similar role. - Experience in the Lighting or Electrical industry is essential.
