Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer B1/B2 at Sonovision Malaysia located in Selangor, Malaysia, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive MRO support services to aircraft manufacturers and MROs globally. With a minimum of 1 year certifying experience as a qualified LAE, you will be responsible for various aircraft maintenance tasks such as cleaning, inspection, removal & installation, repair, modification, and functional tests. Your key responsibilities will include participating in maintenance planning and preparation by forecasting manpower, spares & equipment needs, ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company SOP. You will also be accountable for completing all aircraft-related certification paperwork accurately, maintaining a safe working environment, and adhering to safety protocols and compliance practices. Collaboration with the maintenance team to efficiently plan aircraft checks operational readiness and proactive communication with the maintenance planning department to manage clients return-to-service expectations are essential aspects of your role. Reporting any defects, delays, or incidents to appropriate stakeholders and maintaining detailed technical records for audits and compliance will be part of your daily tasks. As a skilled and competent professional, you are required to have relevant engineering qualifications, EASA and/or CAAM Part 66 license will be a plus. Extensive knowledge of aircraft systems, structure, and operations, strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities are necessary. Additionally, you should possess a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage job priorities effectively. You will work on-site in customer facilities and may be required to travel based on project needs, with potential long-term relocation up to 1 year.
