Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

As a Technical Maintenance Technician at the company in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, your role will involve conducting technical maintenance and inspection on airframe, engine, and mechanical and electrical systems of aircraft. You will be responsible for tasks such as replacing boarding equipment, identifying faults, and handling delay failures. It will be your duty to isolate faults and handle failures, ensuring the feasibility of equipment removed from aircraft or large equipment. Troubleshooting and performing maintenance procedures according to MEL items in the Authorization Certificate's appendix will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will need to ensure the aircraft's airworthiness, put it into operation in compliance with CAA regulations, and report incidents affecting airworthiness. Surveying equipment condition, creating repair plans, listing necessary accessories for stable and accurate equipment operation, providing practical training to junior technicians, inspecting and maintaining electronic systems, and related aircraft equipment are also key tasks. Moreover, you will conduct fault confirmation, defer defects, and perform related maintenance procedures based on MEL items listed in the Authorization Certificate's appendix. Releasing aircraft to service as per CAAV regulations, ensuring aircraft and equipment are in serviceable conditions, reporting maintenance errors and incidents affecting airworthiness to relevant Managers and MQA Manager, and maintaining current Authorization and Aircraft Maintenance License are crucial aspects of the role. Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's degree in relevant majors - Experience: - 02 years of practical maintenance experience on operating aircraft as a skilled worker in a technical trade - 05 years of practical maintenance experience in operating aircraft without previous technical training - At least 06 months within the preceding 24 months working on relevant aircraft - Professional knowledge/skills: - Hold a valid certificate/license of professional qualification in aircraft maintenance from a competent authority - Completed aircraft type training - Good knowledge of maintenance procedures, quality systems, safety & security regulations - Hold a valid AML license category B1 or B2 issued or recognized by CAAV or present country - Language skills: Good English communication skills with a TOEIC score of 500+ or equivalent In this full-time role, you will be entitled to health insurance benefits and will work night shifts and rotational shifts at the Ho Chi Minh City location.
