Job Overview:
Ithis Hospital is seeking a qualified and dedicated Librarian to manage our library. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, maintaining, and updating library resources, ensuring that medical, nursing, and allied health professionals have access to accurate and up-to-date information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the acquisition, cataloguing, and classification of library materials.
• Maintain up-to-date medical, nursing, and allied health literature.
• Assist faculty, students, and staff in locating resources.
• Maintain digital records and organize e-resources (if applicable).
• Handle subscriptions to journals, magazines, and online databases.
• Organize periodic inventory and audits of library resources.
• Support academic activities and provide research assistance when required.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in library management software and digital tools.
• Strong organizational and cataloguing skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with medical and health sciences literature preferred.

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (B.Lib.Sc) or Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.Sc) from a recognized institution.
• Additional certification in digital library management or medical library science will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
