Job Description

Greeting from CK School of Practical Knowledge,

We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and passionate Librarian to manage and elevate our newly renovated school library.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day library operations, including circulation, cataloguing, and shelving.
Guide and assist students in selecting books appropriate to their age, level, and interest.
Maintain library systems using digital cataloguing software.
Organize reading programs, book clubs, and literacy events to promote a culture of reading.
Maintain accurate records of library assets, inventory, and book issue logs.
Introduce students to library etiquette and research techniques.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc) or Master’s in Library Science (M.Lib.Sc).
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a school
Proficiency in using library management systems and digital tools.
Fluency in English
