Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Librarian based in Kolhapur. The Librarian will be responsible for managing library operations, organizing and maintaining library resources, cataloging books and materials, and assisting students and faculty with accessing and utilizing library services. Additional responsibilities include developing library instruction programs, managing metadata, and ensuring the proper functioning of library systems to support academic and research objectives. Qualifications Proficiency in Library Services and Library Management Strong knowledge of Library Science and Metadata Experience in Library Instruction and user training Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLISc) or equivalent qualification Familiarity with modern library technologies and systems Commitment to promoting information literacy and lifelong learning
