Librarian

Job Title: Librarian (Female) Location: Ranipet, Tamil Nadu Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month Experience: 0–1 Year Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Library Science or related field) Job Description: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Female Librarian to manage and maintain the library at our institution in Ranipet. The ideal candidate should be passionate about books, organized, and ready to assist students and staff in accessing learning resources. Key Responsibilities: Organize, maintain, and catalog library resources (books, journals, digital media). Assist users in locating and checking out library materials. Maintain an updated inventory of books and educational materials. Implement systems for borrowing, returning, and tracking items. Oversee reading room decorum and support a conducive learning environment. Promote reading programs and organize book-related activities. Perform data entry and basic recordkeeping. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (B.Lib.Sc preferred, other disciplines accepted with library experience or certification). Good communication skills in Tamil and English. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, library software). Positive attitude and strong organizational skills. Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
