Select, install and commission all new machines and provide service support for imported machines. Work on indigenization of spares and ensure effective spares management during all times. Design effective energy conservation methods for the plant and implement the same. Plan and implement actions aimed at major overhauling of machines. Ensure maintenance support to all plants including vendors/sub-contractors, maintenance of utilities and autonomous machine maintenance. Prepare location wise CAPEX budgets, manage and control expenses, adhere and comply with all preventive maintenance schedules, monitor breakdown percentages for all class of machines and utilities, and ensure achievement of all productivity targets related to in-house automations, indigenization of spares and energy conservation. Responsible for initiating and implementation of low cost automation, line balancing and by reducing the tooling operations to increase the productivity.. Ensure alignment with manufacturing capabilities and supply chain requirements for customised solutions. Oversee the development and testing of prototypes for custom products. Ensure that prototypes meet customer specifications and performance benchmarks. Lead design iterations based on testing results and customer feedback. Manage multiple customisation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time Maintain project documentation as per ISO standards, track progress, and report to senior management on the status of custom product development.
