Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to bring new or improved products and derivatives to market.
Ownership of project deliverables, including design drawings, design review action items, supporting documentation, packaging, instruction sheets, etc.
Influence, review, and critique others’ designs, ensuring best practices are followed and lessons learned are incorporated.
Simultaneously support multiple projects in various phases of development
Work with a team to analyze risks and root out issues early in the design process, using various internal Focal Point resources, as needed. Utilize a hands-on approach to product design, working closely with manufacturing.
3-5 years of professional engineering work experience, preferably in Value Engineering
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
3D CAD software expertise required. SolidWorks preferred.
Demonstrated success working in cross-functional teams through projects or organizations
