Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Legal Manager with specialized expertise in franchise agreements and arbitration. This role is responsible for managing legal aspects related to franchise operations, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and handling arbitration processes to resolve disputes effectively. Key Responsibilities: Draft, review, and negotiate franchise agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide legal advice and guidance to the franchise development team on all franchise-related matters. Manage and oversee the arbitration process, including preparation of legal documents, representation in proceedings, and settlement negotiations. Ensure legal risk mitigation and offer solutions for potential legal issues related to franchise operations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and industry standards related to franchising and arbitration. Collaborate with external legal counsels, if required, on complex arbitration matters. Assist in dispute resolution strategies and manage litigation related to franchise agreements. Provide ongoing legal support and advice to senior management regarding franchise operations and contractual obligations. Qualifications: Law degree (LLB or equivalent) with specialization in franchise law, arbitration, or related fields. 5+ years of experience in franchise agreement drafting, negotiation, and arbitration. Strong understanding of franchise law and dispute resolution mechanisms. Excellent negotiation, communication, and legal drafting skills. Ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously with attention to detail.
