LEGAL COUNSEL - EXPANSION

As Legal Counsel for a retail brand based in Delhi NCR, your role involves negotiating and taking end-to-end responsibility for all legal aspects of documentation related to lease/license agreements, sustainability commitments, and code of ethics. You will be conducting extensive due diligence for leasing properties, and coordinating and liaising with external counsel and landlords" counsel for the finalization of due diligence reports. Key Responsibilities: - Negotiate and take responsibility for legal documentation related to lease/license agreements, sustainability commitments, and code of ethics. - Conduct due diligence for leasing properties and coordinate with external counsel and landlords" counsel. - Provide advisory on portfolio-related matters such as signage issues, penalty clauses, invoicing issues, change of ownership, and related issues. - Offer compliance advice and initiate new litigation in coordination with compliance specialists for proactive management of signage issues. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Law. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal counsel roles. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to manage all legal work related to leasing properties and resolve legal issues efficiently.
