Legal Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our law firm. The selected candidate will assist senior advocates in litigation and advisory matters, conduct legal research, draft pleadings and legal documents, and coordinate with courts and government authorities. This role is ideal for a young professional looking to build strong litigation and drafting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on statutes, case laws, rules, and notifications
• Draft and assist in drafting:
• Plaints, written statements, rejoinders
• Legal notices, replies, applications, affidavits
• Petitions, complaints, and briefs
• Assist senior advocates in:
• District Courts, High Court, Consumer Courts, and Tribunals
• Case preparation, arguments, and strategy
• Appear in courts for routine matters such as filing, adjournments, and mentions
• Liaise with court staff, clerks, and government departments
• Maintain case files, records, and follow-ups
• Attend client meetings and assist in legal consultations
• Ensure compliance with procedural and filing requirements
• Assist in preparation, filing and followups for business licensing work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: From ₹4,000.00 per month
