Job Description

The Legal and Administrative Lead will oversee all legal and administrative functions of the company. This role involves ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, managing contracts, and providing strategic administrative support to facilitate the innovation hub's objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in legal affairs and organizational management in the startup ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Legal Functions: Compliance Management: Ensuring that the hub operates in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Intellectual Property: Overseeing the protection of intellectual property developed within the hub, including patents and trademarks. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating legal risks associated with the hub's activities. Policy Development: Developing and implementing policies related to legal compliance and ethical standards. Administrative Functions: Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day administrative operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in processes. Budget Oversight: Assisting in budget planning and financial management, including monitoring expenditures and reporting. Event Coordination: Organizing and managing events, workshops, and meetings that promote innovation and collaboration within the hub. Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and documentation of legal and administrative matters. Experience: The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in legal practice, preferably in corporate law or a related field. Experience in an innovation hub, startup environment, or technology sector is highly desirable. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in contract negotiation and legal research. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.,
