Learning Support Assistant

You will be joining Insighte, a prominent organization in Bangalore Urban dedicated to promoting the inclusion of neurodiverse children in various environments. As a full-time Learning Support Assistant/Shadow Teacher, your role will involve providing essential support services to neurodiverse children by assisting with daily activities, implementing behavioral strategies, conducting assessments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with children, their families, and the school community to ensure their overall development and inclusion. To excel in this role, you should possess Special Education, Teaching, and Psychology skills along with experience in conducting Psychological Testing and Mental Health assessments. Knowledge of Family Therapy and intervention techniques is crucial, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside empathy and a deep understanding of the needs of neurodiverse children. Prior experience in educational or clinical settings is preferred, and a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
