Learning & Development (L&D) Engineer/specialist

About the Role:

The Learning & Development (L&D) specialist/engineer will play a key role in shaping and implementing a learning management system in Sewa. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the nonprofit sector and a demonstrated ability to design and deliver impactful digital training programs tailored to mission-driven organizations.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) engineer to design and deliver impactful learning journeys through digital and e-learning platforms like Zoho Learn. This role requires close collaboration with leaders of Sewa USA across all verticals to assess team-specific needs and translate them into effective learning solutions. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader, ideator, and go-getter—someone who is adaptable, open to evolving methods and concepts, and must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, be a self-motivated team player, and possess excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

· Plan, develop, and implement all L&D initiatives across the organization.

· Perform graphic design and develop contents for courses to be implemented in a LMS.

· Evaluate organisational and volunteer development objectives.

· Collaborate with L&D specialists to develop engaging and effective digital learning modules.

· Bring a creative and user-focused approach to the design and structure courses.

· Analyse and improvise the learning modules.

· Support enhancement of the learning system and processes.

· Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices in learning and development.

Skills and qualifications

• Prior experience in Graphics and Content design is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Excellent articulation and written communication with the ability to engage large audiences is required.
• Prior experience in course development in Zoho Learn or any other Learning Management System is desirable.
• Should be able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Experience in identifying, designing various learning programs is required
• Expert-level knowledge in MS Office, Canva and other presentation tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
