Lead Unity Developer

As a Team Lead Unity Developer specializing in slot game development, your role will involve leading a team of Unity engineers to architect, develop, and deploy engaging slot games across various platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading a team of Unity developers in designing, developing, and delivering slot games. - Defining and implementing architecture and best practices for Unity-based game development. - Collaborating closely with artists, game designers, producers, and QA to ensure quality and timely releases. - Driving performance optimization, scalability, and platform-specific enhancements. - Managing sprint planning, code reviews, and mentoring junior and mid-level developers. - Ensuring code quality and maintainability through proper documentation and testing. - Staying current with industry trends and recommending tools and technologies to improve workflow and game performance. In terms of qualifications, you should possess: Technical Skills: - 8+ years of experience in Unity3D game development. - 2+ years in a lead or senior role, preferably within slot or casino games. - Strong proficiency in C# and Unity's ecosystem (URP, Addressables, DOTween, etc.). - Experience with slot game mechanics, RNG, reels, math models, and in-game events. - Familiarity with backend communication protocols (REST APIs, sockets) and game data synchronization. - Experience with cross-platform development (iOS, Android, WebGL, etc.). Leadership & Communication: - Proven ability to manage and mentor a small to medium-sized team of developers. - Strong project management and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience integrating with 3rd party SDKs (analytics, monetization, etc.). - Knowledge of casino compliance requirements (GLI, etc.). - Familiarity with tools like Jira, Git, and CI/CD systems (e.g., Jenkins). - Experience with game server logic or Unity multiplayer frameworks is a plus.
