We are hiring Lead UX Designer for MSC Technology in Chennai.

Qualification: B.E / B. Tech (Design/CS/IT Engineering) or related fields

Skill Set: Qualitative research, Quantitative research, Visual design, Interaction design, Facilitation, Information Architecture, Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

We are seeking an experienced Lead UIUX to spearhead the design and strategy of exceptional user experiences across our digital products. In this senior role, you will lead a team of designers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the creation of innovative, user-centered design solutions. Your expertise in understanding user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints will shape our products to be intuitive, engaging, and efficient. A strong portfolio showcasing leadership in UX design and strategy is essential.

As the Lead , you will oversee the design vision and drive end-to-end user experience processes, from ideation to final implementation, ensuring consistency and user-centricity across all touchpoints. You will play a key role in mentoring junior team members, advocating for user experience, and collaborating with stakeholders to align business and design goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and execute the overall UX vision and strategy for product development, ensuring user-centered design principles are applied across all touchpoints.

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of UX designers, providing guidance.

Work closely with product managers, developers, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to align business goals with user needs and ensure design integrity.

Conduct and oversee user research, including usability studies, interviews, and surveys, to gather insights that inform design decisions. Apply insights to improve the user experience continually.

Create and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across products. Drive high-level design decisions, including wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and interaction models.

Lead the iterative design process, incorporating feedback and making refinements to ensure the best possible user experience. Collaborate on design sprints and present design solutions to stakeholders.

Champion UX best practices and act as the voice of the user within the organization. Educate teams on the value of UX and its impact on the products success.

Partner with developers and product teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and align with product requirements. Ensure the successful handoff and implementation of designs.

Leverage data, analytics, and user feedback to make informed design decisions. Use A/B testing and other methods to validate design choices.

Stay current on design trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices. Foster innovation and creative solutions that elevate the user experience.

Requirements and Skills:

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).

Extensive Experience in UX design, including a proven track record of leading successful projects and teams.

Experience leading cross-functional teams, influencing product strategy, and managing relationships with stakeholders.

In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility best practices.

Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative research, including user testing, persona development, and journey mapping.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and team members.

Strong ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex design challenges creatively.

Expertise in designing responsive and mobile-first solutions for web and mobile platforms.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus to better collaborate with development teams.

Experience creating design systems, leading design reviews, and ensuring design consistency across projects.

Ability to analyze user behavior, conduct A/B testing, and incorporate data into design decisions.

Bachelors or masters degree in design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), Computer Science, or a related field.

Must be a good team player.

Hands on experience is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Agile methodologies and design sprints.

Familiarity with web accessibility standards and tools.

Knowledge of UX writing, microcopy, and interaction design.
