Job Description

As a Lead Systems Platform Architect at Mastercard, you will be part of the Infrastructure Design Delivery team responsible for analyzing and designing the infrastructure framework to meet the application, platform, or system needs in alignment with Mastercard's operational standards. Your primary responsibility will be creating the Technical Architecture Document (TAD) that outlines the infrastructure design. Your role will involve: - Generating requirements with other architects, engineers, application teams, and users to ensure all high-level requirements are met. - Creating products like TADs, technical documents, logical flows, and models to keep stakeholders updated and in agreement on evolving systems. - Maintaining architectural products and ensuring they are up-to-date and relevant. - Resolving internet architectural and operational issues impacting global infrastructure and product performance. - Researching and evaluating new technologies for potential deployment in Mastercard's internet infrastructure. - Leading regional projects, including planning, resource management, and implementation. - Managing and supporting internet infrastructure components while following best practices. - Performing problem diagnosis, performance tuning, capacity planning, and configuration management for internet components. - Monitoring system execution for stability and future compatibility. To excel in this role, you should have: - Strong knowledge of network, operating system principles, and web middleware. - Proficiency in internet infrastructure design and/or web administration. - High-energy, proactive, and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently under pressure. - Initiative, self-motivation, and result-driven approach. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and organizational skills. - Willingness to learn and take on challenging opportunities. As part of your corporate security responsibility at Mastercard, you are expected to comply with security policies, maintain confidentiality and integrity of information, report any security breaches, and complete mandatory security trainings. If you have experience in Internet fundamentals, designing middleware infrastructure using Microsoft Visio, and working collaboratively with stakeholders to meet evolving needs, this role could be a great fit for you.,
