EPAM Anywhere is looking for Lead Systems Engineer - GCP to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Systems Engineer to join our team in the cloud computing space, specifically on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system engineering and architecture, with expertise in designing and implementing scalable and secure systems.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and implement scalable and secure systems using GCP services such as Compute Engine, Storage Bucket, and Kubernetes Engine.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions that meet those needs.
Develop and maintain system architectures, including high-level designs, detailed designs, and implementation plans.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of system engineering principles, including design patterns, architecture styles, and development methodologies.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is desirable.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with distributed teams.
